Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an “out-of-hospital” setting (such as at home, at work or in a park). It consists of two easy steps:
- Call 9-1-1
- Chest Compressions
This basic course will also teach you scene safety, a basic assessment for consciousness and how to operate an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
Target Audiences: High School students or anyone who wants to know how to preform chest compressions correctly.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Length: approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour
